Binance App Download 2026: Full Entry Points for Android APK / iOS / Mac / Windows / Web
Binance App Download 2026: official entry points for Android APK direct install, iOS App Store overseas region, macOS dmg, Windows exe, and the web version - with version numbers, install steps, and how to spot fakes.
The official Binance app ships on five platforms: **Android via direct APK install**, **iOS via the App Store** (requires an overseas Apple ID), **macOS / Windows desktop clients**, and a **web version that runs in any browser**. This page lists the official entry point, version footprint, install steps, anti-fake checks, and upgrade flow for each one.

## Five-platform download overview
| Platform | Package size | Install method | System requirement | Recommended |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Android (APK) | ~85MB | Direct APK install from official site | Android 8.0+ | Most reliable |
| iOS | ~200MB | App Store, overseas region | iOS 14+ | Requires region switch |
| macOS | ~148MB | dmg, double-click to install | macOS 11+ | Best for large trades |
| Windows | ~96MB | exe installer | Windows 10+ | Same as Mac |
| Web version | 0 (no install) | Open in browser | Chrome / Edge / Safari | Backup option |
**Accounts sync across every platform** - an order placed on your phone shows up on the desktop client and can be closed there. Assets, orders, and KYC status are a single record.
## Android: direct APK install is the most reliable
Google Play is unreachable in many local environments, so the official recommendation is **direct APK install**.
### Step 1: Open the genuine official site
The only official download path is the "Download" menu on Binance Official Website in the top right - then "Android". **Never** download from any of these:
- Third-party app stores searching for "Binance" - many of them are counterfeit packages
- APK files forwarded in QQ groups or Telegram channels
- "Binance APK" sponsored links from generic search engines
- Built-in "markets" inside emulators (NoxPlayer, etc.)
### Step 2: Verify the package name and size
**Official APK package name**: `com.binance.dev`, file size around **85MB**. Anything with a different package name is a fake.
### Step 3: Enable "install from unknown sources"
Tap the APK in your Downloads folder. The system will warn about "apps from unknown sources" - tap **Settings**, find your current browser (Chrome, Samsung Browser, etc.), turn on **"Allow from this source"**, then go back and tap **Install**. About 15 seconds and it's done.
**Turn the toggle back off after installing** - leaving it on means any APK can install itself, which is a security risk.
### Step 4: Grant permissions on first launch using this table
| Permission | Allow? | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Notifications | Yes | Receive sign-in alerts |
| Storage | Yes | KYC needs to read photos |
| Camera | Yes | Liveness check + scan-to-sign-in |
| Location | **No** | Not needed by the app |
| Contacts | **No** | Not needed by the app |
**Always deny location and contacts.** The official Binance app does not need either - any version that asks for them is a counterfeit.
## iOS: switch to an overseas Apple ID
The China region App Store will not return Binance in search. You need to switch to a **Hong Kong or US Apple ID** before downloading.
### Step 1: Register an overseas Apple ID
Go to [appleid.apple.com](https://appleid.apple.com):
- Set country / region to **United States** or **Hong Kong**
- Use a real address in that country (a well-known company front desk address works)
- Date of birth must be 18+
- Verify your email to complete registration
### Step 2: Switch the device Apple ID
1. Sign out of your current Apple ID completely (Settings - your avatar - scroll to bottom - Sign Out)
2. **Restart the iPhone** (important - skipping this leaves cached state)
3. Sign in with the new Apple ID
4. App Store will switch to that region automatically
5. Search "Binance" and install
### Paths to avoid
- The **TestFlight beta** path - it expires, and you have to chase a fresh invite code every 90 days
- **mobileconfig profile direct install** - you have to maintain the certificate yourself; once it expires the app stops working
## macOS: best for large trades
Open Binance Official Website - top-right "Download" - macOS - download the dmg (about 148MB).
```
Double-click the dmg → drag Binance into the Applications folder → done
```
### "App is damaged" on first launch
macOS blocks apps from non-App Store sources:
> "Binance" is damaged and can't be opened.
It is not actually damaged - Gatekeeper is blocking it. Open Terminal:
```bash
sudo xattr -cr /Applications/Binance.app
```
Enter your password, open the app again, and it works.
## Windows: same desktop experience as Mac
Binance official website - "Download" - Windows - download the exe (about 96MB). Double-click the exe, follow the wizard, done.
**Default install path**: `C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Programs\Binance\` - the standard Electron app path. Don't change it.
**Disable launch on startup**: the installer enables auto-start by default. We recommend turning it off:
```
Settings → Apps → Startup → Binance → off
```
## Web version: the fallback
If you don't want to install a client, just open Binance Official Website in the browser and sign in. Every feature works. **The only limitation**: the web version cannot use the "scan QR to sign in another device" feature.
## Don't install these "companion tools"
App stores and GitHub regularly host these so-called "Binance helper tools":
- "Binance price alert plugin"
- "Binance trade history exporter"
- "Binance one-click arbitrage helper"
- "Binance asset tracker dashboard"
**Every third-party tool carries risk**, the most common being one that tricks you into authorising your API key, then disappears with the funds. The official Binance app already includes price alerts, trade history export, multi-account switching, and asset reports. **No third-party tool is needed.**
## How to tell the real Binance app from a fake
| Feature | Genuine | Counterfeit |
|---|---|---|
| Developer | Binance Holdings Limited | "XX Studio", "XX Tech" |
| Rating | 4.5-4.8 | Suspiciously high (5.0 perfect) |
| Review count | Hundreds of thousands | A few hundred to a few thousand |
| App name | "Binance" - one word | "Binance Pro", "Binance Helper" |
| Icon | Standard diamond | Missing an edge or off-colour |
| APK package name | com.binance.dev | Anything else |
If any single row mismatches: **uninstall immediately and download fresh from the official site**.
## Upgrade strategy
The Binance app **does not auto-update from an app store** (because it is not installed via Google Play):
- **Once a month**, check the version number on the official site
- When a new version is out, download a fresh APK and **install over the top** (data is preserved)
- Tapping "Check for updates" inside the app prompts you to download from the official site
- **Major versions** (typically containing security fixes) are announced - upgrade immediately
## Common install failures
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Android "Parse error" | APK is incomplete | Download again |
| Android "App not installed" | Older version with the same package name | Uninstall the old version first |
| iOS App Store shows nothing | Apple ID not switched to an overseas region | Switch region and restart |
| macOS "App is damaged" | Gatekeeper blocking | Run the xattr command in Terminal |
| Windows "protect your PC" | SmartScreen blocking | "More info" - "Run anyway" |
| App installs but won't open | Permission disabled | Allow this app in system settings |
For detailed troubleshooting on each scenario, see the Install Issues category.
## What to do alongside
After downloading the app, we suggest this order:
1. **Complete account registration + KYC** - see Getting Started
2. **Bind 2FA** - improve account security
3. **Confirm the download source** - see Anti-Fake
4. **Complete first sign-in** - verify cross-device sync

One rule above all: **never click into Binance from a search-engine ad slot**. About 80% of the links in those slots are phishing sites.
